Firsat Koala is an app made to tackle the pain some individuals have, who'd like to keep track of their favorite store's offers and be able to save more money through said offers.

We all have a bit of lazy in us, and we all would like to save some money when we can🤷. this app is here for that.

Creating an easily integrated system to automate restaurants workflow and meal preparation.

UX RESEARCH

The Problem:

Housewives, Students, Coupon lovers love to save money but they find it tedious to keep track of all offers across all the stores they go to.

Challenges

The main challenge of Firsat Koala was to create a consistent platform across all major grocery-store brands that is constantly updated with constant reminders about special offers. portrayed in a comfortable interface for users to browse all the listed products.

User Profiles

Murat

Murat is a student trying to save on groceries so he can buy the next PlayStation for his dorm room. Murat also has a limited allowance each month which makes it difficult for him to save money.

Canan

Canan is a parent of 2, she likes to compare prices of all grocery items in all nearby stores. And on each lira she saves Canan feels that she achieved something, So she donates a portion of the money she saves to increase her gratitude levels.

Hatice

Hatice is a house-wife and a mother of 4, she likes to be aware when there are exciting new offers on kitchenware or any sort of appliance.

interested in comparing prices against all offers, feels rewarded when saves money on regular purchases.

Student

Interested in saving money yet doesn't have the capability to keep up with all offers

Housewife

Interested in keeping up with a wider range of store offers at once, in one place.

THE PRODUCT

Wire Frames

Starting with a very basic wireframe, the Main screen of the app was designed to hold all the product offers of the preferred brands, nested under many categories, from which the user is free to navigate around to product details, Search for certain products and view their shopping list.

High Fidelity

Browse offers

A wide range of offers listed in a convenient clear list, familiar to customers, as apposed to cramped brochures. Focusing on the most important elements of the offer, that customers usually navigate to.

Shopping list

A comprehensive easy shopping list, displaying all elements added from the Browse section. With the ability to add items that don't necessarily have offers. Yet every item that is written into the Manually Added section would be cross referenced against all the current offers to show the user if there are any offers for such an item.

Reward System

Adding some gamification and reward system helps grab more retention towards the app, and creates a satisfying rewarding feeling after every save the user makes.

THE BRAND

Why the Koala??
Aside from the fact that Koalas are so damn adorable 🐨 ❤❤ they are creatures of comfort and coziness, they prefer to stay close to their habitat and food sources.
